Textured sterling silver ring, set with a vintage mood stone

Mood stones contain thermodynamic crystals, that change colour in response to our bodily temperature changes- from deep azure blue when hot, to black when cold

Each stone is unique

Size S, or US size 9.25, with an internal diameter of 19.2mm

Handmade in Wellington/ Pōneke, New Zealand by LSD Jewellery

Please note, to preserve the integrity of the mood stone, avoid water when wearing this piece. Must be taken off before showering, swimming, washing hands etc

It is also advised not to let it get too hot (eg don't leave near a heater), as the stone may stop working, and will turn black

Who made me? LSD Jewellery

Charlotte Burkhart, of LSD Jewellery, has been making jewellery since she was 11 years old; when she began crafting creations from paua and Fimo clay. She establisher her brand 15 years ago, starting out by using human hair and teeth in her work, moving into creating moulds from bird claws and skeletons found in nature. Her work takes inspiration from horror, the ethereal and uncanny. Every piece is crafted by hand in her Wellington studio
